Good Salt deserves a good salt pig / container. You won’t find a cuter salt pig than my salt pigs. They are available in pink and black glaze, in the style of Hampshire pigs. The inside of the pig is unglazed, this is suppose to help keep the salt dry. For that reason I made the pigs from white clay. The salt looks better against the white clay.
All containers for salt are called salt pigs, I thought it would be cute and fun to make them actually pigs. They have cute slightly surprised expressions and a cute curly tail.
They are thrown “off the hump” so they are always slightly different.
